Working with new tools< 1 min read
As much as I love the Adobe Creative Suite, working with new tools helps me to be more creative. It forces me to think outside my normal thought patterns, struggle to solve problems, and it leads to some pretty cool discoveries. Today at lunch Gavin and I used a generative art program called Weave Silk (http://weavesilk.com/) to creative some abstract shapes. We then took those and created desktop backgrounds.
These exercises aren’t going to win us any awards, but it is a fun way to get outside our comfort zones and make something rad.
